Mission

    The Medicine for Sick Children Foundation has a simple primary goal: providing children in developing countries who are sick with the appropriate medicine.  The needs of hospitals in the developing world are great as there are shortfalls in medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.  This Foundation is unique in the fact that it will provide these things directly to the pediatric hospitals, clinics, or centers.

    We also support community health projects as well.  This may have the largest impact on any given child’s health because if one can make an environment around a child more healthy, that child (and community for that matter) will have a much better chance in dealing with disease.  Examples of projects we support include: the establishment of clean water supplies, vaccine delivery, mosquito control, etc.

    The mechanism of funding such projects is via solicited and unsolicited applications.  We have several affiliations with hospitals in some of the poorest countries in the world and are always growing.
